Pete caught an 8 pound salmon a few weeks ago... just a little too early; the fishing derby was last weekend, and first prize for salmon category was $1500, won by someone with a smaller fish than his. The St. John Valley Times printed the below photo which I sent them, and labeled it "Nice Catch." My nephew, Anthony, won first prize in salmon and placed second in trout in the children's category!
Regarding Pete's felon in possession of firearms charges, his lawyer (Toby Jandreau) asked to withdraw as counsel, citing conflict of interest but he did not tell what the conflict was. Judge Hunter did not recuse himself; he should. I filed a complaint against him after he had me placed in handcuffs for nearly an hour; Pete had no counsel at the time and I was trying to tell him not to sign anything. The Commission dismissed my complaint... they always do. I plan on filing paperwork as a Third Party Interpleader, and demand return of our family's guns and other property, confiscated by Maine Game Wardens and other law enforcement on April 28, 2011. Maine Wardens have made visits to Pete's ice shack a few times this winter.
